Affiliate Support & Amplification

Strengthening Local Impact Across Colorado

We believe local leadership drives lasting change. Our role is to provide the structure, resources, and visibility that allow those local efforts to grow stronger, more sustainable, and more impactful.

Keep Colorado Beautiful serves as a statewide backbone organization supporting local affiliates, municipalities, community groups, and mission aligned nonprofits working to reduce litter, beautify public spaces, and elevate civic pride.

Your qUESTIONS,

aNSWERED.

  • Colorado’s environmental and beautification efforts are strongest when communities lead. However, many local programs face barriers such as limited staffing, funding constraints, regulatory complexity, and lack of marketing visibility.

Keep Colorado Beautiful exists to remove those barriers.

We help communities scale impact without duplicating overhead.

  • Technical Assistance & Program Development

We offer guidance to help local partners build effective and sustainable programs, including:

    • Litter prevention strategy development
    • Cleanup program design and logistics
    • Volunteer management frameworks
    • Education and outreach toolkits
    • Data collection and reporting guidance
    • Sponsor and partnership development strategies
    • Policy navigation and state level coordination

Whether launching a new affiliate or strengthening an existing initiative, we provide practical support grounded in real world experience.

    Grant Alignment & Funding Support

We help partners increase funding success through:

    • Collaborative statewide grant applications
    • Shared data and impact reporting
    • Letters of support and fiscal alignment
    • Sponsorship introductions
    • Funding strategy consultation

By aligning messaging and impact metrics statewide, we strengthen Colorado’s competitiveness for public and private funding.

    Statewide Visibility & Amplification

Local programs deserve recognition. We elevate their work through:

    • Cross promotion on KCOB platforms
    • Social media amplification
    • Website features and spotlight stories
    • Shared campaign branding
    • Statewide media coordination
    • Inclusion in statewide initiatives such as Love 5280 and Don’t Trash Colorado

When one community succeeds, we amplify that success across the state.

    Shared Resources & Infrastructure

To reduce duplication and overhead, we provide:

    • Program templates and branding guidance
    • Volunteer waiver frameworks aligned with Colorado standards
    • Insurance and risk management guidance
    • Educational materials and campaign assets
    • Data reporting templates
    • Statewide best practice sharing

This allows local leaders to focus on impact instead of administration.

  • We partner with:

    • Local Keep America Beautiful affiliates
    • Municipal and county beautification programs
    • Community led cleanup groups
    • Schools and youth organizations
    • Environmental nonprofits
    • Business coalitions
    • Rural and frontier communities seeking to launch programs

From the Western Slope to the Eastern Plains, from mountain towns to urban centers, our goal is statewide reach with local leadership.

  • We do not replace local programs.
    We strengthen them.

    We do not centralize control.
    We connect and elevate.

    We do not duplicate effort.
We align resources and amplify impact.

  • If your community is interested in launching or expanding a litter prevention or beautification initiative, we would love to work with you.

Together, we can build a cleaner, more vibrant Colorado — one community at a time.
