Who We Are
Founded in 2025, Keep Colorado Beautiful is a Colorado based statewide non-government 501(c)3 organization built on stewardship, accountability, and pride of place. We are led by people with deep roots in Colorado’s communities and real experience in environmental, civic, and operational leadership.
We mobilize individuals, communities, and partners across Colorado to take action - reducing waste, restoring public spaces, and protecting the places we all share.

Love 5280℠ is part of Keep America Beautiful’s national Love Your Happy Place℠ campaign inspiring people to care for the places they love through recycling education, neighborhood cleanups, and shared pride in local spaces.

EDUCATION AND OUTREACH

statewide support & leverage

We organize and support small - large scale and community led cleanups statewide. These programs remove litter from the environment while collecting data, identifying hotspots, and informing prevention strategies.
Litter Prevention

We reinvest into projects across the state. Funds support tree planting, flower planting, murals, green space installations, and various public space improvements.
Beautification

We partner with schools, municipalities, counties, businesses, other non-profits, and state programs to improve participation in litter prevention, beautification, waste diversion through: reuse, recycling, organics, and hard to recycle items. Education is targeted, measurable, and tied to behavior change, not awareness alone.

We plan to provide grants, scholarships, technical support, tools, and visibility to local affiliates, aligned nonprofits, and partners to scale impact without duplicating overhead.
